First Annual Forte Family Vacation: Outer Banks, NC

The Forte families of New York, Connecticut, and North Carolina--13 of us in total--came together for a week on the beach from July 8-15 in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We rented a big six bedroom, five bath house (spread over three floors) right on the beach in the village of Salvo on Hatteras Island. The house had it's own pool and hot tub as well as a private path to beach. We didn't really do much all week besides spend time with one another. It was wonderful.

The most exciting night of the week was when my Mom dressed like a pirate (see picture below). Here's the roster of ragamuffins, vagabonds, and beach bums who joined us on vacation. One group got there way too early, another group got there just on time, one group took 13 hours to get there, and the last group ended up in Pennsylvania. Enjoy the pictures...
